Modern machines, tools, software and essentially all other equipment you need to stay competitive cannot simply be bought off the shelf. You need a specific, non-mainstream product, you need to meet with a specific supplier and discuss everything in detail. The question is: Which supplier? Will you hear out everyone who comes around with an offer or will you proactively search the market and choose who to start a dialogue with? If you take the initiative, you will greatly reduce the risk that you may end up buying something that may not be the best solution and that you may not even need.
But for that to work, one fundamental prerequisite must be met: You need to know of the potential suppliers, which means they must be visible. However, neither standard advertising, whether printed or electronic, nor traditional trade fairs are going to help you much in this respect. They do not allow suppliers to showcase what they have on offer specifically for you.
Take advantage of the opportunity to see what solutions suppliers have prepared for applications in manufacturing and servicing of moulds. And if you yourself have something to show off, do not hesitate to do so!
